Also, 2 things (for now)

1. We should clog that blog page (village voice) with as many comments in support of the protest as possible since the page will now be visited due to the protest exposure.

2. It really makes me squirm to hear people like Aaron Cohen (who believes his antislavery activism was predestined) say things like 'It's raining. These are tears from God." because it is used to defame the struggle and none of the organizers are coming at this from a religious standpoint. Wondering what people's opinions are on this.

Detroit police have linked three women found murdered to the backpage.com adult-ads section within the past week. Time for this website to be shut down.

TO the dangers of commercial sexual exploitation and sex trafficking associated with backpage.com's adult-ads section, add a horrific twist.

Women using the site for encounters with men have been turning up dead in Detroit. Two women were found in the trunk of a car a week ago. On Christmas Day, two more were found in a car trunk, their bodies burned beyond recognition.
