Hollywood actress Kate Hudson has said she has no issues with pornography.

In a recent interview, the actress says "Men like sex. So I have absolutely no issues with pornography.

People can do want they want to do.” She then goes on to state, “They can watch it if they want to watch it. I probably wouldn't hold it against my husband if he wanted to enjoy it - well, actually he does enjoy it!"

And Kate insists she isn't intimidated: "Who cares? It doesn't matter. Sex is sex is sex is sex no matter which way you like it. I don't have any qualms." One wonders what a lucky bloke her husband is.

Will someone please tell Hudson that porn is not sex? It's obvious that she takes to heart the teachings of her mother, Goldie Hawn. Hawn once stated in an interview that she was okay with her long-time live-in, Kurt Russell, having sex with other women because monogamy isn't natural for men.

These are two more beautiful, talented women who don't value themselves as much as they value their men. :(

Real life experience tells me that people who talk like that (especially in such vague terms, without referring to the actual content of pornography) usually don't know what this is all about and have no idea what a "money shot" and "gonzo" are. Once you start describing actual scenes (à la Robert Jensen), they are shocked and ask you to stop, sometimes falling into total denial.

didn't Alison Assiter admit that she supports porn although she has never seen one moment of it in her life?

Yeah, and the really crap thing is that with women being "ok" with their men's porn use, and/or sleeping with other women, is that if they did the same themselves, to try to equalize the situation, they would feel even less value for themselves. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Therein lies the conundrum - I have come to the conclusion that until it is really obvious and apparent that a big dent has been made in men's consciousness's about porn use, and sleeping with other women/prostitutes, that IMO, women should just deny them sex - really, what if.....? What if all women just stopped having sex with men until they had a mass worldwide attitude adjustment?

Dreams on......

Yeah, most women don't really know what exactly their hubby is watching half the time, and the denial function just keeps them sane - for awhile. The scary thing is, that the pornpurveyors are trying to get women to not only find out exactly what they are putting out, but are striving for women to embrace it too.

Even if women would stop having sex with men who they know use porn and prostitutes, a large number of men would stop using them, at least I believe that. Therefore, I don't have sex with men who I know use porn and prostitutes. Yes, I would end a relationship upon discovery, no matter how much I'd grown to care for or love him. I've done it before. I'll do it again if and when I have to.

The no-porn pledge - you can lead a horse to water and all that - how do I get a man to sign a no-porn pledge? Does this mean if I do it, I can't look at porn for the purpose of "knowing thine enemy"?

Also, there is a difference between no porn and no sex - if women just stopped having sex with men, even prostitutes (this whole scenario ain't ever gonna happen though), it would be a solution to the serious "on a plate" sex scenario men have going for themselves these days.

This scenario, in theory, would wake them up to the fact at how freaking easy they've had it for years.

OK - eek - not being argumentative - just want to know how this would work?

edit - quel surprise - I am logging off and may be some time - my pc is freaking out. Hopefully will be able to get back on, but each time I boot up, I cannot seem to load my internet log on. Eek again! I will die without my computer.
