I am including this email from charlie as the yahoo group in question was mentioned on this thread:

Re the yahoo group in support of the daily squirt (sport)
This is her feedback email:

"The pro Daily Sport group now has 195 members! A few
days ago it had 7!!!

Loads of members keep visiting my blog, (I am able to
keep a tab on who visits...) They have put my blog
under a link along the lines of 'anti-freedom'"

Also - see this g-berg link about public female participation in porn - http://genderberg.com/phpBB/viewtopic.p ... highlight=

I'm sorry, I don't really want to start up this debate again, and I do see the points of delphyne, and will be bearing this in mind when commenting in future, but surely, women must see this is wrong?

I just cannot sit back and watch women taking no responsibility for their actions, and stay silent, or not comment on anyone except the men promoting the objectification process. If this is going to meet oppostion, I guess this is one thing a forum is used for - debate.

I have said it, and I will continue to say it- there is a line between what the system does to us and what we do to ourselves.

We do make some choices. Even after we take away class, poverty and peer pressure, there is still a layer of personal responsibility there. Not all the decisions that women make are patriarchy imposed, and if we do not hold any wman accountable for her actions then we are indeed subscribing to the Patriarchy line f though that women are mindless, children who just cannot be responsible for their own decisions.

Whether they choose to take the responsibility... that is a different issue.
But I am against the " I am a feminist therefore everything I do is right" school of thought. It has caused enough damage already.

How come you keep missing out sexism? If we took away the sexism that women face do you still think that we would be becoming pole dancers or prostitutes?

Me too, but that's not what is being argued here. Everyone on this forum is against pornography and prostitution.

I belive Sam, Alyx and I have all done posts on why hating Paris has sexist undertones and I've nothing more to say here.

Except thank you Delphyne :hello1: , for doing the work here!
