Boss Rant

Postby MaddyH » Fri Jun 23, 2006 12:27 pm

I hate it when my boss says poo like "Have any of the girls made coffee yet?" With a big fat smile on his poopy face. He thinks he is so funny. Do you know that none of the "girls" in the office are even responsible for this and only one of the women in the office drink the coffee. Yet none of the men will touch the pot to make a new one, even if they drink the last drop! I am not a girl, by the way - do I refer to grown men as boys like that... no. Eww! I just dispise him, but I need the job.

Boss: "Have any of the girls made coffee yet?"

Workers: "Nope. We're too busy doing the grown up work we're paid for."

Just a thought... ;)

I'm from the North East of England, affectionately called a "Geordie" we would probably say, something along the lines of:

"Gan boile ya heed ya wasick"

Translation.."Go and place your head in some boiling water you idiot"

Surprisingly the men are quite used to outbursts like this *up north* :D

This one will come up again MaddyH, and i need to think about it a bit more. I come from one of the most "traditional" stereotypical working class areas of the UK. YET for some reason, women are very vocal here. I'm not saying it does any good, we're oppressesed, and most women wouldn't even dream about challenging pornography, or Nuts, whatever! We do it in private, thats what just dosen't fit? Like i've just said, i've got to think about this a while longer.
