So angry about a quote from this guy Joel Stein that I saw on Bill Maher on the 19th of this month...

They were talking about Laura Ling and Euna Lee and the nightmarish situation they are in... and how the U.S. media is not as concerned about the issue as they should be - or as they would be if these young women were blonde/blue eyed etc. due to the racism implicit in the U.S. media...

and Joel Stein, who was unfortunately a guest on the program, made the most racist/sexist comment I have heard in a while... he actually said:

"We love asian women... we love their babies... we love them in our pornography..."

:evil:

So angry!!!

Wish something would be done/said about this... I am not sure where he works but I am so disgust

ed by what he said I just can't stand it... and my gf thinks I'm "blowing it out of proportion"... GRR!
