How refreshing to see such an in-depth, in-your-face anti-porn article written by a guy. How refreshing to find a guy who actually has the insight to think beyond the next "dick fix", the selfish need for more material to feed their little ongoing mental porn movie, to see how porn fucks up men too.
I noted the comment about porn and smoke - here are some parallels I have drawn about this, and I'm sure I'm not the first to do so:
It pollutes/poisons other people's otherwise healthy environment.
It's totally selfish to expect others to share your toxins.
It forces others to consume what they don't like when you partake of your habit around others.
It's addictive and will f**k you up.
It's poisonous and will ruin your life, affect your health, and affect you financially.
Oh yes, and it's being increasingly marketed to, as yet, unsaturated markets, such as the middle east and india, and also younger and younger potential addicts.
The only difference is that cigarettes have huge warnings on the packs now, it will be illegal soon (in UK) to smoke in public places, exposing others to the poison of other's choosing, and it's taken some years, but people are getting the message that smoking is bad for society and the economics of the health provision industry.
One day, porn will be dealt with the same.
